What are the Vedas?

The Vedas are a vast collection of ancient Sanskrit texts dealing with all subjects in relativity; from math and science to philosophy and cosmology; from medicine and surgery to music and architecture--they contain knowledge of complex subjects which were not "discovered" in modern culture until recently. For example, complex methods pertaining to time measurement based on the shape and movement of our sun within our galaxy were well known and in use thousands of years ago, as were complex methods of surgery.
